FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 14, 2004

New sketch comedy show by Train of Thought debuts at Northwest Actor's Studio

Mutual Street Productions and Train of Thought present an all new, original sketch comedy show: Train of Thought > New York. Train of Thought > New York runs for six weeks, Fridays and Saturdays, May 7th through June 12th at 10PM, at Northwest Actor's Studio in The Cabaret Theater. Tickets are $10 general admission with $8 for students (with ID).

Train of Thought is Seattle's most unique sketch comedy group. Unlike other comedy troupes Train of Thought creates sketch comedy shows based around one word. The unique format of the show allows the audience to experience the creative process behind the piece's construction, from original comic inspiration to end result.

In Train of Thought > New York the troupe gives Lady Liberty a makeover for the new millennium, explores the habit of bringing kids to the workplace, the emotional turmoil of interviewing celebrities on the red carpet, how Republicans and Democrats interact on a blind date and more!

Train of Thought has been featured at Seattle Sketchfest's PUSH: An Evening of Sketch Comedy and their last show, Train of Thought > Airport, was called " well written, continuously hysterical and deeply intelligent." by The Seattle Sinner. The full review is available at http://www.trainofthought.info/sinner/.

Train of Thought > New York will be showing at Northwest Actor's Studio in The Cabaret Theater, 3rd Floor, on Capitol Hill. (1100 E Pike Street, Seattle, WA, 98122)
