FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Jun 15th, 2005

Ever lost your job? Sketch comedy troupe examines life after being laid off at Northwest Actor’s Studio

Mutual Street Productions and Train of Thought present an all-new, themed sketch comedy show: Train of Thought > Laid Off. Train of Thought > Laid Off runs four weeks, Fridays and Saturdays, July 8th through 30th at 10:30 PM, at Northwest Actor’s Studio in The Cabaret Theater. Tickets are $10, $8 for students (with ID) or $1 off if you show a current unemployment pay stub.

In Train of Thought > Laid Off the troupe explores life after being laid off by looking at the traumas of interviews, the difficulties of writing resumes, the differences between Red and Blue States, the stress of work presentations and more!

Their last show, Train of Thought > New York, was a Seattle PI: 2004 Best of the Northwest Theater Selection and they were called “funny" by The Stranger and “continuously hysterical and deeply intelligent” by The Seattle Sinner.

Train of Thought > Laid Off will be showing at Northwest Actor's Studio in The Cabaret Theater, 3rd Floor, on Capitol Hill. (1100 E Pike Street, Seattle, WA, 98122)
